"While only steps from the world's most beautiful beaches and the opportunity to work with the best families and teachers in the state, I am truly blessed to be Principal at the only secondary school of excellence in Bay County as deemed by the FLDOE which is Surfside Middle School.
Being a shark is about belonging to a family and that is truly what Surfside is. The faculty, staff, administration all work together for the success of what truly matters and that is our students. We foster a community where the students feel safe to learn, dream, and understand that mistakes are part of the life process.

Mission: The Surfside Middle School family will provide a standards-based and technology-rich curriculum to promote student learning and foster self-esteem.
Vision: At Surfside Middle School we will inspire children to be passionate about learning. We will challenge children to meet their potential academically and socially. Teachers will model in their relationships with students and colleagues an appreciation for the uniqueness of each individual. Teachers will collaborate among grade levels and subject areas (i.e. Professional Learning Communities) to promote learning in a safe and comfortable environment. We will engage parents, students, staff, and the community in shared responsibility for advancing the school's vision and mission.
